Greg and Lou Present Lou and Greg is a 3-man comedy group.

Greg and Lou present Lou and Greg is Greg Burke, AJ Morales, and Lou Perez. Proud to call the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC their home, they have performed to sold out audiences across the country, most notably with their sketch shows ‘Surprise Party’ and ‘Grand Theft Art… Oh’. They have become prolific on the internet producing exclusive videos for funnyordie.com, cracked.com, justforlaughsTV and many others. And through such sketches as Office Porn, Wolverine’s Claws Suck, and Trick Shots, they have scored over 4 million views on YouTube.

Gregory Burke is a comedian and writer based in New York City. He has appeared in featured roles on NBC’s Law and Order, Third Watch and FOX’s New York Undercover and as various characters on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Greg can also be seen in DERRICK Comedy’s upcoming feature film ‘Mystery Team’ which is scheduled for a nationwide release in the fall of 2009.

In 2006 he co-starred in the film Checkout, directed by Dan Eckman, which won Best College Short at the 2006 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. He also spent six years portraying Ben Reade on CBS’ The Guiding light. Other credits include various national commercials and numerous childhood exploits on Saturday Night Live and The Late Show with David Letterman.

Greg is a founding member of the sketch/improv troupe, The Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz, with whom he won an ECNY Award for Best Sketch Group in 2005. He has performed in and directed many shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York and is a member of the prestigious First Look Theatre Company at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Lou Perez is Luis Amate Perez, a writer/comedian based in New York City. He performs regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre with his group, Greg and Lou Present Lou and Greg, and produces content for stage, film, television, and the Internet with Uh-Thank You Productions. In 2006 he co-starred in the film Checkout, directed by Dan Eckman, which won Best College Short at the 2006 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.

His written work has appeared in Fiction; Born in the 1980s (Route Magazine, 2008); Rejected: Tales of the Failed, Dumped, and Canceled (Villard, 2009); The 2nd Hand; The Gallatin Review; and The Minetta Review.

He has a B.A. from New York University (Gallatin) and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from The City College of New York, where, as an adjunct lecturer, he has taught undergraduate classes in Literature, Composition, and Creative Writing.

AJ Morales (Director / Co-Writer) is a theatrically trained director. He was the recipient of the Emerging Comics of New York’s Best Director for 2005, and has written / directed over 25 comedy showcases in the New York area, including 10 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.

From 2002-2007, AJ was the proud founder / director of the Wicked Wicked HammerKatz whose members have gone on to work for Universal, 30 Rock, SNL, Comedy Central, and Montreal Just For Laughs. AJ received an MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University, and currently works as the Design Director for Longtail Studios, which specializes in narrative-driven video games.
