Lexus Christmas Commercial Parody

Lexus’ ‘December to Remember’ campaign is in full swing. It’s that special time of year when super happy families surprise each other with expensive cars that have big red bow’s on them. But sometimes those surprises don’t always go as planned…

Thanks to the wonderful Ann Carr for her amazing performance!

Thoughts: 3D TV, Negative Side Effects & New Sketch

1 – So 3D TV is really happening? Like, really, seriously happening? People are going to shell out $3,000 for the privilege to wear sunglasses while they watch Two and a Half Men? I’m confused.

2 – Check out the ad I found prominently displayed on the main MLB page of ESPN last week…

OK, so 4 things: 1) Exactly how fast did that dude get that big? 2) Does the tattoo draw itself during muscle growth? 3) How do you think they define ‘negative side effects’? and 4) Is he in a wheel chair?

3 – A brand new Greg & Lou video is coming out tomorrow. It’s ridiculous, it’s x-mas themed and someone ends up inside of a box. Get excited…

The Promise

I am a huge Bruce Springsteen fan. And I am currently swimming in a sea of The Boss. Springsteen recently released his long awaited Darkness On The Edge Of Town box set called ‘The Promise‘ and it is epic. One remastered version of Darkness on the Edge of Town, two CD’s of outtakes from the 1977 recording sessions and three DVD’s of live performances. Absolutely amazing.

If you’re a Bruce fan you need to own it. If you love rock music you need to own it. If you think Bruce sucks because you only know him from ‘Born in the U.S.A’, ‘Dancing in the Dark’ or the faux-country voice he’s recently adopted then you need to check this shit out because it will blow you away.

Buy it now. Seriously.

In the meantime, watch this:

And since I love to make fun of Bruce just as much as I love to listen to him, check this ridiculous thing out:

Clark Holographics

Here is the video I co-wrote with Paul Rondeau for the 48 Hour Film Project in NYC over the summer. It won the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor awards and I think we were robbed of a couple of other awards too…

We conceived, wrote, shot and edited this entire thing in 48 hours. It was insane. I slept for about 3 hours and spent half the weekend sitting in traffic going to and from Manhattan.

Check it out. And please pass it around if you think it’s funny.
